Eligibility

  • Bravo Camp: Ages 5-18
  • Miami Swimming Academy Sports Camp: Ages 5-16
  • Resident Campers: Must be 12+ on the first day of camp
  • Requirements: Signed Release of Liability waiver

Swim Levels

  1. BRAVO I (Ages 8-11)
    • Requirements: Basic knowledge of all 4 strokes
    • Focus: Stroke development, efficiency, and aerobic capacity
    • Activities: Arts & crafts, dryland exercises, trivia, and games

 

  1. BRAVO II (Ages 11-14)
    • Requirements: Legal in all 4 strokes; ability to swim 100 IM
    • Focus: Stroke refinement, aerobic capacity, 10x50s freestyle on 1:05
    • Activities: Sports, relays, dryland exercises, and contests

 

  1. BRAVO III (Ages 14-18)
    • Requirements: 2+ years of competitive swimming; ability to swim 10x100s freestyle on 1:30
    • Focus: Advanced training and athletic performance
    • Activities: Intensive swimming training, strength work, and advanced refinement

 

  1. MSA Sports I (Ages 5-9)
    • Requirements: Comfortable in water; swim and float independently
    • Focus: Introduction to swimming strokes
    • Activities: Tennis, basketball, swimming, and crafts

 

  1. MSA Sports II (Ages 10-16)
    • Requirements: Safe in water; building aerobic stamina
    • Focus: Endurance, stroke efficiency
    • Activities: Games, multi-sport activities, and technique drills

 

  1. Artistic Swimming (Ages 8-18)
    • Requirements: Passion for Artistic Swimming
    • Focus: Figures, routines, and performance
    • Subgroups: Age-based

Camp Hours:

  • Day Camp: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Resident Camp: Sunday PM – Friday PM (No Resident Camp during Week 4)

Freestyle June 10th – June 14th
  • Developing proper freestyle kicking and body position
  • Work on engaging core and proper rotation.
  • Teaching proper catch, pull, and recovery.
  • Distance per stroke, proper hand entry, feeling water.
  • Learning how to swim different freestyle events (25,50,100,200,500,1000,1650)
  • Freestyle breakout and turn work.
  • Dryland exercises to help develop core strength.

DAILY SCHEDULE FOR WEEKDAYS

  • 8:00 AM: Breakfast (Resident Campers)
  • 8:45 AM: Check-in
  • 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Dryland & swimming workouts
  • 12:00 PM: Lunch (Kovens Center)
  • 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Swim clinic
  • 3:45 PM: Check-out (Day Campers)
  • 4:00 PM – 8:15 PM: Dinner, activities, downtime (Resident Campers)
  • 9:00 PM: Lights out (Resident Campers)

Weekend Schedule (Resident Campers):

  • Field trips: Metro Zoo, Rapids Water Park, Frost Science Museum, Disney World

Daily Schedule for Weekends

  • 8:00am Wake up and breakfast at dorm.
  • 9:30am Depart for field trips.
  • 12:30am Lunch in Field Trips
  • 4:30pm Return to campus, day campers are picked up, residents rest in villas.
  • 6:00-7:15pm Dinner in Dining Hall
  • 7:15-8:15pm Nightly Activity
  • 8:15-9:00pm Down time in villa
  • 9:00pm Lights Out

*Video games are NOT allowed! Cell phone use is permitted only after the camp day has ended.

Campers will always be fully supervised by counselors. Activities will take place on the beautiful campus of Florida International University.

Olympic Virtual Camp Mentorship

Get ready to experience first-hand, personal swim clinics and mentorship from top Olympians and World Champions. Learn the unique technique and approach that helped these superstars reach the pinnacle of the sport.

Campers will also be privileged to the unique Olympic approach that helped our Olympian virtual guests reach the pinnacle of the sport. Participants will receive group video session with the coaches and Olympians throughout the summer, offering a next level of inspiration and motivation not found in your run of the mill swim camp.

* Special Olympic appearances are based on talent availability and Summer Olympics schedules this year. More information and exact dates will become available upon talent availability.

  • Day Camp:  $435/week
  • Resident Camp: $995/week
  • Weekend Stayover Camp: $360/week (Additional $350 for Disney World trips)
  • Short Week (Week 4):  $348

Discounts:

  • Early Bird: $50 off (Register by April 31st)
  • Multi-week: $60 off for 3-5 weeks; $140 off for 6-8 weeks
  • Sibling: 20% off per additional child

Extras:

Pre-care & After-care

As a convenience to our families, we offer extended hours Monday through Friday. Campers participate in relaxing games, watch movies, take a walk by the bay during this time and will be supervised by camp staff.
– AM Extended Day  7:45-8:45 $48/week
– PM Extended Day  4:00-6:00 $96/week
– AM & PM Extended Day  $130/week

Discounts and Details
  • *10% off early bird discount enrolled by March 31 st @ 11:59 p.m.
  • *Multiple session discount of $40 off for 3-5 weeks, $90 off for 6-8 weeks, 10th week free for 9-week package.
  • *Sibling discount of 5% off the 2nd and subsequent child’s tuition.
  • *Registration needs to be paid online in full for the child to participate in camp.

Cancelation
  • Each level group is limited to 15 swimmers and overseen by one coach and one counselor.
  • If you cancel your enrollment with less than a month to go, the Bravo team will retain 30% of the payment. If the cancellation is made less than one week – 50% will be retained.
  • If the child gets sick, we can move your payment for another week, pending availability.
